Esther Grace's birth story

At 2:30am on a Wednesday, oh wait that would make it a Thursday, I got the call! Levi said the contractions were coming on strong and that they were on their way to the hospital. Yippie!! Not wasting anytime I got up, did my hair, made some coffee, and waited on the update they would soon find out once they arrived at the hospital. At 3:40am my message read, "waterbroke at a 7". DANG YO!  Grabbing my keys I popped into my car and headed south. So much excitement ran through my mind that I just couldn't make it to Salina fast enough! Up to the 6th floor, down the hall, opening the birthing room door expecting to hear some laboring action, but instead I found this sweet Momma and Daddy cuddling their newest bundle of joy. I believe Katie made a new record for shortest time in the hospital before giving birth. I'd say a grand total of 23mins?! SAY WHHHHHAaaaatt!? This Mom is a super mom in my books and what I hope for to see in my birthing time! Yea we missed out on those raw moments of birthing, but seriously what momma is going to complain about a fast birthing time?
