I approach birth photography with a quiet presence and care. I hold space while quietly documenting your story as it unfolds.
NO, I won't be turning on lights and flashing your face! As a certified doula I know first hand how sacred birth is. It should be honored in a calming space, limited distracts, less weirdos. SO...NO, my camera won't be making clicking sounds. How? My camera is mirrorless awhhhhhhhh.
To fully support you and be present I only take on very limited families per season.
If you feel you need extra support, education, whatever ...I am always there when wanted/needed.
to offer full presence and on-call support I accept only 4-6 clients per year.

My Process
1.Contact for FREE Consultation
I would love for you to reach out to me, the sooner the better! I would say at least by 2nd trimester so we can dig deep into birth education. We will meet in-person or via FaceTime to see if my vibe fits in with yours and if I would be a great person to have in your birth space!
2.Contract and Invoice
Invoice should be paid in full my 36weeks but your initial deposit should be at least $325.
I also understand the investment of a home birth and almost always out of pocket so I offer clients 15% off their total. This means $450 off my all inclusive session. BONUS for me as a photographer I have a lot of flexibility in my ability to grab shots in a home setting too. <3
Contracts are due within 1 week of being sent and can be signed online.
3.Birth Time?
I have my clients keep me in the loop through out their entire pregnancy. If you see little signs of labor, text me. If it's in the middle of the night and you need me now, call!

Some birth photographers don't come until your in active labor (dilated to a 5/6) I don't do numbers. I trust what the birthing mother is thinking/feeling. I will come when you want/need me not what some number tells me
4.When do I arrive?
After you contact me I will make arrangements for childcare for my own children. This has always taken 5-20mins. After that I will head to your birthing location.
